Bouldering is a Teamwork and Resilience focused activity with students striving to challenge themselves to traverse the climbing wall using various sized “handholds” at non-specific distances apart to a height of two metres above the ground. Physical support in the way of “peer spotting” is provided to the climber fostering trust and responsibility. Students are encouraged to set themselves personal goals and targets to reach to engender confidence and self-belief in their own endeavours. Support from within the group is encouraged to build teamwork initiatives.
